I've been doing this for over 12 years, photographing more than 1,000 women of every shape, age, and chapter of life. Almost every client arrives nervous, convinced she isn't confident or photogenic enough. That changes fast once we're in the studio.

They leave realizing what they were looking for was in them all along. Their only regret is not doing this sooner.

I don't photograph models. I photograph everyday women, and I guide you through every step, prep included, so you walk in knowing exactly what to expect, even if you're nervous.

You'll get the makeover you're dreaming of, and when it comes to posing, I guide every breath, every hand placement, every expression. You'll never have to wonder what to do.

🔥 A signed model release is requested not required. Images and behind-the-scenes clips may asked be share (always your choice, and always classy, never nude).

🔥 Sessions take place at Valerie Visser Studios Grand Rapids Studio weekdays 9am start. (M,W,Th). (We do not offer weekend or evening availability for this experience.)

🔥 All women welcome. Every body type, every vibe. No experience needed. I’ll guide you through it all.

NOTE: If chosen, we will walk you through all the Details on a personal phone consultation.

We also offer amazing payment plan options, and during your photo viewing and ordering appointment,

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING: This is not a free session. This is a limited, invitation-based Bookworm Boudoir Experience. Your session fee is fully waived. To reserve your date, a $250 retainer is required and that amount is applied back to your image purchase as a credit (it is not an extra fee).Your experience includes professional hair and makeup, full access to client wardrobe and accessories, a fully guided photography session, and professional retouching. Images and products are purchased separately. The normal minimum investment is $1,690. For this special experience, you’ll receive an additional $250 Collection Credit. Since your $250 retainer also applies toward your collection, the remaining balance would be $1,190 if selecting the minimum option. Simple pre-session payment plans are available. *
